I see on the page you refer to AfriGenie that there is a softcap on capped data - if I am on a 4Mb line with a 100GB package and I reach the limit before the month is over, do I get softcapped to 128kb on Afrihost Plus for the rest of the month?

That is absolutely correct! The soft-cap limits your connections speed to 128Kbps. Although you do also need to bear in mind that all of our Capped accounts have zero-rated bandwidth between 00h00 and 06h00 as well now.

Yes as per the page says. But really schedule downloads between 12 and 6am and you will not run out of that 100GB data. Unlimited midnight to 6am data free.

No, not yet - still shopping around.
I saw MWEB's Black Friday deal where you get 3 months free uncapped ADSL data with a router BUT you have to sign a 12 month contract with them. Data contracts - who still sign up for those?
