Afrihost POC Network - Afrigreen Feedback

We're not trying to isolate anyone here though. If there was a way to reward you guys as easily as adding data we would have done it.
To be fair, both accounts are active. And we've constantly thanked you guys for testing. I know I've said this before - but we've always given back to clients. Everyone. Not just Capped clients.

So let's continue to test and all work towards a really kick ass network :)

Both accounts are active for capped accounts and home uncapped accounts as well.
But whatever.
A kickass network isn't a gift or an AfriThanks - it is what we are paying for.

Afriguy please don't think this is aimed at you as you have been nothing but helpful and I realise the party line is the party line. But surely when ex-co makes the decision lets give more data etc to certain groups, the idea must be raised "what about the guys on the top tier product" surely they will get narked if they don't get anything?

I echo Dianysis's sentiments, we are already paying for a product that should work, the fact that we have access to the trial and the network we continue to pay for is a non-point, the network should be performing at max speed all day all month (that is what uncapped, unshaped implies doesn't it?)

I realize that to give something to someone that already has everything (service wise) is difficult. But if you can configure a countrywide network there has to be someone that can come up with a creative solution?

Stats For Nerds showing max throughput is sitting @ 3327kbps can't get over that.

Was working like a charm yesterday and this morning before work though

seems to be fine here in CPT

BF4 Still runs without any packet loss for 4 days now on the green account :) Hope the other gamers are having good results as well.

Fully understand, and I promise - we haven't forgotten about anyone here :)

Keeps dropping below 1000kbps

That seems like more than enough.
Are you seeing buffering?

Starting to think I am just unlucky as hell :( ... ... But what makes little sense is that all the other accounts I have work fine, just AH doesn't

timestamp seconds 1471.612
1280x720, 2359 average kbps, 100% volume
TagStreamPlayer, HTTPS/DASH/VOD, 1180 kbps
10 stage fps, 30 video fps, 2500 dropped, 0 kbps
software video rendering, accelerated video decoding

That seems like more than enough.
Are you seeing buffering?

Constant buffering @ 1080p ... ... Rare buffer A 720p

Maybe test your latency, or try another browser to see if the results are improved for you?

Tested with Chrome, Waterfox and Opera

Everything seems OK here, how do the results compare to your regular account?

Regular account also has buffering but less frequently @1080p and no buffering @ 720p

What line speed do you have?
I'm testing from home, on a 10Mbps line - I've always seen buffering on full HD when selecting that quality in the beginning, but it runs smoothly after that.

10Mbps, same as you.

Last night I was even watching 1440p LTT videos but tonight it just isn't playing ball :(

Seems to be improving ... no buffering on AG @ 720p ... ... random buffering @ 1080p (but less frequent)

:::EDIT:::

Buffering again

Gonna call it a freak night and just check again tomorrow

I really do think that 1440p is a push for a 10Mbps line - it nearly saturates a 10Mbps line, so everything needs to be playing ball in order to stream at that quality.
