That's awesome to hear! The Facebook-issue is related to the outages that they experienced on their side, and I am sure it will be back to normal very soon.

Do any of the wise Afri guys know why I cant open uploaded.net on afrihost mtn or webafrica, but I can on axxess and Vodacom 3g?

Hmmm, that's a very interesting one indeed!

It's not resolving from our Office Fibre connection either. Would you be able to post a traceroute to uploaded.net from a connection it loads on?

When I Googled uploaded.net I saw this message "No-registration upload of files up to 250MB. Not available in some countries."

Do you know if this service is available in South Africa?

It is , i am on a 2mb Afrihost business uncapped acount , and cant access it either, i am currently on an mweb account with access yet on Afrihost i get a timeout error constantly, although it worked this morning and not now, worked yesterday but not Sunday, so it can only be on your end or on some part if the international pipe.
Has been working on Afrihost for all the time i have been a customer (many months), until very recently

It opens on Afrigreen and Telkom, not on VOX, or IS. Looks like IP range blocking to me.
VOX have alerted them but no response yet.

Yup, looks like the Afrihost IP range has been blocked from accessing the site. I can run a traceroute to uploaded.net, but I'm unable to Telnet to it.

Thats no bloody good is it, and why now all of a sudden ? when it has been working for months ?

Just by and by , another page i find timeout on constantly and wont load is BHPhoto in New York, yet it opens instantly on Mweb.
I obviously need to go through my bookmark list and check all the pages i get timeouts on Afrihost and not Mweb, especially if it seems your IP range is now suspect.

Are you having trouble with bhphotovideo.com? That should definitely be accessible from Afrigreen, I was able to load it without issue.

The Afrigreen range is definitely not suspect, uploaded.net is now blocking multiple SA-based ISPs IPs, so it may very well be that they recently change their terms of service. We actively trying to find out why it is not accessible, but it is definitely not something that was suddenly changed on our side.

Both those sets of traceroutes look okay... On what sort of AfriGreen account are you on at the moment?

Afrihost Business Uncapped -nada, it has never worked for me personally on Afrihost (since May 2014 , join date) only on Mweb.

Ever considered the fact your IP range is maybe considered some sort of suspect range ?

We monitor our IP-ranges closely to make sure that they are not black-listed by the major security firms. We cannot however stop specific sites from preventing our IPs from accessing the site. We'll need to wait for the feedback from uploaded.net.
 
P2P not working? Mine are going at less than 1kB/s? Normal download going at 350+normal download in chrome.PNG
