Busy updating Windows 10 on a new computer an updates are running at line speed. Very nice. :)

Windows updates doesn’t display download speed. The only way I’m able to check it is to monitor network activity via the Windows Task manager.
Windows update was the only program that was running at the time.

You can set your router to start counting at any number.
I subdivided mine, if you connect to the extension all your IPs will be 1xx, the second extension will be 2xx. The main router is 0xx. I only have ~20 devices on the network.

That is normal, the new routers like Zyxel and Asus seem make provision for static IP addresses such as printers etc.
Usually I see 192.168.1.100 to 254 as the DHCP pool. Unless Lara manually configured it that way. So I don't see a problem here.

After 6, And I can't surf again, no downloads, Facebook doesn't load, no gaming. Changed back to AfriRed and it's even worse.

At 3 this afternoon everything was flying but now we going at a snail's pace
