DotA 2 is definitely something I'll ask our Team to look into, from my understanding it should be fine, but there may be some additional work we'll need to do.
When you say slideshow, do you mean there is latency or packet loss?
Sorry for the late reply ...
Definitely packet loss, like I am missing sections of game ... ... my latency stays under 100ms (which is bad cause I am used to 33ms from you guys)
But the packet loss is almost always 35% or higher for me
So I get home tonight... To something resembling death. It's not quite dead, but it's certainly unresponsive when you give it a prod.
It makes me sad, because I was hoping it was the one.
Not even an attempt at rebooting it brings it back to life. Only groans...
Thanks for checking! I really appreciate it, the downloads may take a bit longer to stabilize, but you won't need to wait too long for that.
These constant disconnects are getting to be a bit much! Constantly having to reset everything is getting way past just annoying.
I know that there was a lot of pressure to roll-out the Afrigreen POC but I would have thought that you guys/ladies would have got all your ducks in a row before unleashing it and having to endure yet more negative comment.
I have seen little bursts of awesomeness but, for me, the experience up to now, has not been anywhere near my optimistic expectations. Please chaps/ladies - 'pull a rabbit out of a hat' - sooner than later.
We certainly would have preferred to roll-out a completely new network and have it be perfect from the get-go, but I'm afraid for a lot of the testing the only way to be 100% sure it works is to have users connected and moving as much traffic as possible. And I can understand that the issues popping up are beyond annoying, you guys are really helping us get AfriGreen online and ready for network-wide deployment a lot sooner than expected.
We're making great strides, and you will see the stability of AfriGreen improve by leaps and bounds.
