Dropped afrigreen, Connection was permanently dropping and throughput was terrible. Afrihost.co.za account like 1000% better, Even sites are loading at a decent speed now

Well if you are testing a new network, and your current network has issues, there should be a forum presence during the weekend, in actual fact there should always be a forum presence.

Yup. also experiencing disconnects and zero throughput. Switched to capped account again (on Afrihost). Someone is dicking around with something!

What should be and what is. That's afrihost these days.

They really know how to piss off their own customers.

Had to switch back to my original business account because afrigreen is unusable.

Hmmmm...

My Afrihost Capped account about to be capped... top-up in ClientZone on the MTN Afrihost Plus+ account that has double data... nothing reflects in the AfriGreen account after topping up.

I thought these accounts were linked?

Yup as well, I couldn't even download a small file on Afrigreen. I have reverted to another account in the meantime.

This is a joke right? How can you have no one working on the weekend when this test network is beyond bad?

Had to move back off of Afrigreen after I couldn't do anything last night, looks like today is no better.

Yup, something is definitely up with the Afrigreen POC.

Just a reminder folks - this is a proof-of-concept. Expect things to go wrong occasionally.

That said, there really should be Afrihost staff on hand over the weekend during this period to explain what's happening.

Too many packet losses .

Sites take long to load up initially.

Torrents and YouTube is okay tho.

But still packet losses so bad had to switch back to old account

Totally agree. The message is that this POC and feedback is not so important and that there is no urgency. Astonishing.
Exactly 7 days to the 25th.

Guess I'll have to test when its live. 48hrs and still no details.... :(

I have this POC thing figured out. AfriGreen was just a temp POC to shut us up and pretend to have a solution. In the mean time that gives them time to sort out the issues on either AfriBlue or the MTN network.
Explains why there is no presence on the forum, seing that they don't give a sh*t about this network.

that is exactly what it is. Actions taken to shut us up. In desperation I tried the login they sent me this past week.
Doesn't matter if it is my normal login or this rubbish. Either one is absolutely RUBBISH and RUBBISH in equal measure. Not even iBurst was THIS RUBBISH back in the day.

a) Youtube doesn't work
b) Can't download a damn thing (max speed 10kbyte/sec)
c) Massive latency with Google services... and other things. Struggled to update the Kobo...
