We've already submitted the request for the AfriGreen IPs to be added, the Site Admins should have our AfriGreen IPs added shortly.

Actually they have fixed it I think.
I went in there earlier on but unfortunately the special seams to have ended :(

Something not very lekker at all with AfriGreen in Cape Town this afternoon
(I have removed VPN or non-standard DNS configurations for the purposes of the speed test)

Last Result:
Download Speed: 982 kbps (122.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 367 kbps (45.9 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 82 ms
26/08/2015, 15:02:43

45 min later.....Latency even worse; speed not significantly better by any means:

Last Result:
Download Speed: 1035 kbps (129.4 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 406 kbps (50.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 222 ms

Looks okay at the moment on our side...

With which services are you seeing performance issues?

My iTunes music keeps buffering which it never does. I have a 10meg line.

Google searching is even slow. Local is speedy. Speedtest shows 9mb down local, and 0.5mb down international.

At this rate my family is never going to use up our remaining 190 Gigs (incl AfriFree data - thanx AfriGuys :-/ by 23:59 on 31 Aug

Hmmm, that latency isn't good. Could you run a traceroute to Afrihost.com as well as Pinging bras.afrihost.com.

Thanks, our Team is checking the international links now.

Latency is perfect, but international browsing has pretty much died.

Our Team was performing some testing on the international links, and this may have affected performance temporarily. They've now concluded this, can you please test again. :)

Slow browsing in general and latency to my MC server is in the silly numbers again.

Yup, everything except regular ports are down the toilet, specifically 1194 ( openVPN ) UDP traffic in my case

The latency to Europe is okay... But it looks like it is spiking at a few strange places. What do your speedtests look like at the moment?

How are your local and international speeds looking? Could you run a traceroute to Afrihost.com and ping bras.afrihost.com please.
