AfriHost POP3/IMAP Settings

Hi there,

Upon configuring my email client with AfriHost's email settings, I keep getting error messages stating that the connection is not secure, certificate expired etc. This happens with Outlook, Thunderbird and WLive Mail.

Am I doing something wrong here?

Check your PC's clock settings. I have a feeling your PC thinks it is the year 2000

Nope. All set to correct dates and times. Apparently the SMTP server AfriHost uses is not secure and the security certificate expired in 2010?? (According to the email clients.)

Our SMTP is definitely secure - it's used by tens of thousands of people daily

Are you using your own hosted domain or an @afrihost.co.za email address?

What Incoming and Outgoing Settings are you using? PM me that rather so I can get the full details
