Afrihost query

I have been with Afrihost for 20 odd years....

At 2:30 am last Thursday Access to the site for wget and curl stopped, email is also blocked from 1 IP ..

See attached , a traceroute that gets to afrihost but not to either mumma or aserv servers...
Surely if I get to ip.afrihost,co.za but not transferred to mummra or aserv then they are blocking me..
It happened to 2 clients at the same time. One they whitelisted and voila it worked.. This one they cannot fix.. They say its the clients ISP..


Eish but life is tough in Africa..

At last they believe me, the IP was blocked by their firewall... a month ago they unilaterally shut down port 26 now they block us on their firewall.. why not block everyone then there will no more complaints...

Sorry for the bad experience you received with our hosting.

Have you had any issues after your ip was whitelisted?
