Afrihost Router delivery

Morning,

Can anyone perhaps help me understand what the delay is in delivering routers? All the support line can tell me, is that there's a backlog - they said the backlog should be cleared by end of last week, but still nothing.

They gave me a waybill number with Dawn Wing and said I can track the status of the delivery on their site, but both Dawn Wing's site and their office says the waybill number doesn't exist on their system....

Fibre was ordered 8 Aug, installed 14 Aug .... so it was pretty quick. But it's now 5 Sept and i'm still waiting for the router!

It could depend on a few factors like stock availability. It also depends on where you are - some areas require a 3rd party courier that only operates on certain days. But ultimately it's strange that you haven't received a unit you ordered almost a month ago.

Would be amazing, thanks.

As i've also been charged pro-rata since 15 Aug, and for the month of September, but I can't use the fibre yet! :(
