Afrihost still cheapest per gig?

Not too sure, but I am using them and I have not had any problems whatsoever. Their service is great and there are no connectivity issues...

Low usage yes, Medium usage yes and for high usage no (i.e. uncapped)

+1!

Afrihost costs R950 for 50 GB ( from now till may , you get 50gb extra ), but after that its back to 50GB

there are guys pulling in 800 GB and paying R999 for Axxess!

for medium usage, if u can, wait for their monthly special of R14-50 per GB.
unfortunately, that special can happen anytime of the month.

myisp.co.za is R200 for 10GB. i.e. R20 per GB.
I am trying them this month.

Their terms and conditions are not available on their website, and they cannot tell me when these will be available for inspection, so I crossed them out on the contract and specified that they are not available, lets see what happens.

looks good, and they got bw rollover! Afrihost is per month right? or can i buy that afrihost 50GB+50GB and make it last a few months, or is that per month?

GConnect is R14 per GB with one of those 30 day broadband passes.... So if you are medium user, GConnect is cheaper. But beware of issues with their connection manager if you do sign up.

@dudley, I do not recommend any sane person using MyISP right now. I mean, no terms and conditions, no online web-form.
It's insane to trust them.

I am not sane though.

GConnect's 14GB package comes in at almost 300 rand. MyISP.co.za comes in at R200 for 10GB.

this looks really good, the 27GB/R389 is even cheaper. So essentially, you buy a voucher and download 27GB. Its like a prepaid account, and no contract! I like this...whats the catch...

I bought the 27gig one this morning, but have not used it yet as i am trying to figure out how the hell it works

GConnect:
1. Change your Router's Login details to GConnect's generic ADSL login details, wait for the change to take effect.
2. Open a web browser, and browse to a website.
3. GConnect's page will open up giving you the opportunity to enter your GConnect login and password in your browser.
4. A browser page will open that says that you are connected, keep that page open. As long as that page is open, and you are transferring data, your connection will be usable by anything on your network, well - all the computers using your router.

If you do not transfer data for a certain amount of time, CGonnect will disconnect you.
