afrihost support now sucks

I hate the new way afrihost support works, either you need to use whatsapp or wait 1 to 2 hours for a call back,


Just had fiber installed, so new router supplied by afrihost. Speeds from my desktop are correct 20mbps up and 10 mbps down

but on wifi I only get 2mbps up and 2 down

The techie on the other side of whatsapp says I need to exchange the router. could the router be faulty?

I don't know much about routers and such, but does it only have one wifi signal available? I ask because our vodacom fibre router has two, one being 5G which supports higher speeds.

It has 2.4GHz and 5GHz

I get the same results on both
 
Okay, I'm an idiot

The www.speedtest.net websites default is Mbps and their mobile apps default is MB/s. Once I set them to the same unit I get the same result.

But afrihosts support still sucks, I phoned afrihost at 12h00 and asked for a call back, it's now 13h21 and still nothing
