Hi

I am trying to log a fault on the Afrihost Client Zone, but the system does not want to take my request.

I click on 'Create new support ticket', type out the message, and click 'Submit'. But the list does not show my support request afterwards.

This service is becomming less usable by the day.

Please advise on the way forward.

Phone them..... It's always been the best option.

I see now, it does take the ticket, but it does not show the ticket on the webpage. (I received the autoresponder email message.)

Sorry for creating the ticket three times, but it's your own fault it happend...

Don't know what your problem is, but my adsl running on telkom is so slow, cannot open youtube etc.

I have given up on the ADSL to my house, but yeah it is very slow, for the past 5 years now.

This request is for help with the Fibre connection to the office, and yes I have to work on a public holiday.

Depends what it is, support is 24/7 I believe. I just know phoning is faster for me than waiting for a reply to an email or support ticket.

Support is 24/7. That is the SMS/eMail support. The phone line is only open 9-3 on weekends and public holidays.

Anyways, as it is connectivity issue, I know they would want a whole horde of tests done first, so I'll need to send an email in anycase.

You are probably correct, I would still just give them a call anyways. =)

Anyways, hope you get the issue solved.

To all the AfriPeeps out there.

Just checked, and the ticket is still not showing on the dashboard. I know the ticket is active, as I am getting emails on it, but I cannot track it on the dashboard. Will this fixed at some time?

The ticket number is [#ROC-177-39112]

Hey!

I just checked on your ticket, and our Fibre Team has replied to your ticket. They'll need a few test results from you to narrow down what the possible cause of the issue is.

Yes, and I am busy getting that. But that is not my question to you.

My question to you is why is your ticketing system not showing my ticket. Your system is broken.

FIX IT!!!

The ticket is currently in an escalation queue, once our Team has received an update on your ticket it should appear in the ClientZone again.

Did you receive the reply from our Team on that ticket on your default email address?

I think he is just frustrated. But not as bad as Thor. :)

We are always here to help. We get that people get frustrated and we've developed pretty thick skin over the years. But working together beats working against each other any day ;)
