Afrihost support

I currently have a cloud server and ADSL from Afrihost, so far no complaints. But yesterday I ordered another cloud server, between the kids running around me and configuring the server I screwed up and lost connectivity to the server. So I opened a ticket to ask for a restore. I also use another hosting company and I can restore the vps server in a few minutes if needed. Most of the time when I log a ticket with other hosting companies I normally get some sort of response within an hour or two, not with afrihost.

When I did not get any response from them after about 3-4 hours I logged in to the system and noticed the ticket has not even been assigned to anyone. So I filled in the cancellation from, when I got a reply about the cancellation I mentioned that I will not cancel the service if they can fix the problem by 9 pm, two hours. 21:05 I only got a response from the original ticket, 8,5 hours after I opened it. I think that is very slow.

I am still not sure what the progress is on resolving my ticket, but even after requesting an update on the progress still no more feedback.
 
Which doesn't help ANYONE on a public forum also side step issues like this now does it. geezas

Just told the dude to pm Afriman as it might speed things up for him. Umm, where all the hate coming from? I don't even know you but clearly from your statement, we probably wouldn't know each other. Parents must be proud.

Thanks hayted. Pm sent to afriman. Hopefully I can just get a progress report.

Cool man, I have also gone the ticket route a few times. Sometimes only hear from them the next day. Not good enough when you want things resolved or need something quick. Keep well and good luck with your problem.
