Would just like to leave a good word here for Afrihost and the whole team, its been a very long time since i recieved sucj great service

From ordering on Friday to recieving my mifi device just now you kept in touch with me and i always knew what is going on, also I just singed a paper gave my ID put in my SIM and now im connected easy as that

Ontop of it all getting great speeds aswell

you can get better speeds, but it will involve fighting with MTN.

provided there is LTE in your area and the SIM is LTE ready (it should say so on the sim itself) AND provided mtn data has the sim allowed for LTE you can get up to 16mb/s download and 6mb/s upload.

I wish I had screenshots to share of that though, unfortunately today I have bad signal at work.

all in all I agree, afrihost is amazing. the prices, service and response time is a cut above everything else.

the fact that the people working for them are clued up and can understand terms that make the support at other ISP's heads explode. Afrihost is by far the best ISP in south africa.

anyone who does not use them is causing them selves harm

I actually got this for when im going on vacation and i see there is LTE there, I might just take the fight with MTN

Agree with Afrihost service got mine today, but speed seems not so great even with Full Strong (Green) Signal at work in Springs..



Regarding LTE mine came with a MTN LTE simcard so all that is lacking is LTE coverage.

Sorry that you're not getting such great speeds.

Remember that you do have to request LTE activation at the moment as the SIMS are not pre-provisioned for LTE. You can PM me if you have an LTE compatible device
