You are way too kind, it's actually a lot worse than that - @&$#ing disgrace is closer.
I am so fed up with Afrihost over this, finally took the plunge 2 weeks ago and switched from capped to uncapped and since then I don't think there has been a day with decent download speeds. At this rate I will end up downloading a lot less than I was doing on my capped account and be paying double for it.
 
Same crap here!!!! Can't even go one weekend without being shaped anymore!!! Really AH, you are becoming just like all the other ISPs

When I started typing this it was at 75% Download/ 75% P2P. So soon i will have only 6.5% left again. Bloody useless BS!!! Kinda regret spending my money on them now. Think it is best to try out someone else. All I can do is try. Can you cancel online?
 
Ok nee this is it!!! Now even my Youtube is freezing all the time to buffer on ****in 360p!!!! Where do I cancel?? I have had it with this BS!! You okes better fkn own up here. WTF is going on at AfriHost??!! I have never ever had such **** service from you guys!

My speeds were back up this morning but the difference in speeds concern me as I am on a 10 meg line.

What concerns me even more is how quiet Afrihost has been over this weekend :(

The main reason for me choosing them as my ISP is that they get back to their customers on most social contact points
 
I've done 50GB so far this month on a 2MB uncapped account. Can't even get 50KB/s. I was also away for 7 days where not a thing was downloaded. Cancellation here I come!
 
S'pose this sudden dive does line up with the time I saw earlier for the BF4 beta going up for preloading. Still, traffic through JINX is only at roughly weekday-evening levels; a bit sad that Afrihost can seemingly not take a bit of demand any more. :(
 
Maybe the new bunch of MWEB refugees are ruining it for everybody in Afrihost land. They should go back to where they have come from.
 
Afriman, I need a reply , Clientzone says no shaping, HTTP download at 120kBps, switch to a different account (Openweb Trial) and suddenly speeds jump to 200kBps. There is somethin seriously wrong here
 
I can second that. Currently the realtime internasional performance is SERIOUSLY impacted.

Last Result:
Download Speed: 200 kbps (25 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 385 kbps (48.1 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 177 ms

This on a 4mb line btw. You guys experiencing any network issues Afri...it is pretty clear that something is going on...

And no...this is not my exchange hehe.
 
Speeds are mostly perfect, but yet, as usual, Youtube is pretty much a hit/miss situation.
