At least I jigged the AH Mifi to work - just need to manually add 8.8.8.8 as your DNS server.

Seems the guys are having a fun-filled evening

the really ****ty thing is they haven't updated since 15:15

Which means they all probably had an office party and went home and basically telling us to go **** ourselves and wait till Friday or even possibly Monday.

I wonder if my debit order suddenly fails, and I take several hours/days to "sort it out", if they will cut off my service? I'm pretty sure they will...

Here's a 4mb connection uncapped account that's expiring at midnight, it allows concurrent connections I think which will slow the speed down but hey...

Their site have been reporting authentication was off SINCE LAST NIGHT

I made the mistake of rebooting my router.

Yeah, definitely don't reboot if you are connected. We are seeing some auth's but it's pretty unreliable. You wanna keep your router or mobile device connected for now

Not yet fixed. We are slowly seeing more auths, but definitely not out of the woods yet

We don't have an ETA just now. We have a good idea of where the issue is, but we've got MTN working on it. Depending on the extent, we're hoping it could be resolved very soon

That's interesting - I didn't think the issue was DNS related to be honest. Where did you change this? On your PC?

I just signed up for Afrihost earlier as I cancelled my Mweb account which is cutting off on the 1st... I guess im going to be without internet after 12am I was all excited that I was going to use my 10mb line to its potential, but now Afrihost made my wiele somma pap.

Sorry we didn't deliver for you today. I know we're experiencing some problems at the moment, but we should have this worked out soon - we have the top guys at MTN and from our side working on this. Once we're back up and running, you should be experiencing that 10Mbps lekkerness
