Afrihost Uncapped ADSL Feedback (Pt3)

Uncapped... twitch stream unwatchable.
switch to afrihost capped 1GB account, twitch stream watchable, no buffering.

Clientzone says "No Shaping Applied"

ETA? It's EVE Fanfest and I'm trying to watch some of it. I'm going to run out of data soon on this 1gb account.... :(

Do you guys know what the problem is?

I'd love to give you a timeframe, but one isn't available I'm afraid :( It's a top priority for us though!

You probably won't see this until tomorrow, but what do i do about the DNS? Do i just use the ones you gave me, or do i put it back to auto?

Edit: Never mind, it's gone back to being unusable again.. Whats the problem with it?

Struggling to load anything on steam, torrents can't download (getting 0.5kbs) and even browsing is slow...

So tired of this shaping.

Been talking to Telkom rep for the last week and so far it points towards Afrihost that my connection is so unstable. Today is the first time that my ping has been kind of ok, but at one point my ping still got up to 180 on local teamspeak servers.
 
I'll say this much, I was almost impressed. My connection held up until 20:25 last night. With no packetloss, Mumble working perfectly, games with low low ping. It was glorious...until 20:25 then it became useless again.

Ah well. Almost.

All seems to be working well here now, this morning everything feels responsive.

Not for me, browsing is slow and google times out...

Being shaped on 12.5 but even so the real time services are very slow....

Not a good start to a weekend ahead with no support on this forum from AH
 
Google is still up shyte creek. Is it really so hard to fix the Google problem, jeez it's been days now man.
 
Yeah, google/youtube and tons of other sites just crawl.. It feels way slower than dial-up. Gaming is impossible on PC/X1 and PS4. Does anyone know what's going on? Our shaping says 18% but using a download manager in chrome shows downloads are at 1 to 3KB/s..

Very weird seeing that Google services aren't performing well :( Is the same seen on our Capped accounts? Not sure if you guys have tested this.
 
To add to what has already been reported - very sporadic access over the past few days with speeds dropping off to near zero for 5-10 minutes at a time while line stays connected and authenticated. Both Afrihost LTE mobile data in Cape Town and then Business Uncapped Unshaped 4Mb DSL when back home in Durban today.
Rebooting routers every 2 hours or so did help.
Don't want to be complaining without cause but an important business skype conversation to Europe today was barely usable.
My business relies on a stable connection, please Afrihost take your customers in your confidence and share what is happening and we can then stop wasting time trying to troubleshoot ourselves. If Business uncapped is the wrong product then let me know too.
 
Internet so useless I can't even stay connected to a local teamspeak channel...

What did you guys change? Afrihost was running so great for the last 2 months and now I have to restart my modem so often. Had 44% packet loss before I restarted my router.
 
I'm on your capped account you setup, 6PM and I'm getting 700ms and 50% packetloss for the last 30mins. WebAfrica account is fine. This is definitely a Afrihost issue as a whole. 6:05PM it's now normalised. What is going on.
 
Evening guys. Just pushed a few changes out, it may take a few mins to normalise though - please test again a bit later :)

Goodness, that latency is out of hand! Could you paste the comparison traceroutes here please?
