Today has all the characteristics of throttling as different speedtests all flatline on a speed (1/4 of my line speed). No spikes, just nicely rounded to 1mb'ish.

Still seen similar threads across all ISP's though...

Have any of you compared the capped account speeds to what we're getting on uncapped?

Well i'm also getting terrible speeds but only during office hours! But its not unbearable! I can browse all sites without any problems. Downloading is the problem.

So unlike some people here, I won't jump ship after four days of bad Internet! (The weekend i got full speed all the time)

I truly believe that they are working on this and that they will emerge bigger than ever after this! Come on give them a reasonable time to sort it out!

You all know they are moving to MTN! That's a BIG deal and problems are bound to happen!
To those people that cancelled your accounts, I really cant wait until you regret it and want to come back...

I'm not just complaining after four days - I have had poor internet for a month now. I wish they would give me an eta so I can decide not to cancel - I want to stay with them :(

Well I am not impressed so far. But I am staying for now since the only other real alternative is Mweb and I rather be with out internet than go with Mweb.

Mine has been noticeable throttled since the beginning of last week even though I had only done 60Gig.

Sure thing, next time your 10meg line buffers on YouTube SD material for a week, drops remote connections, has shoddy VOIP when someone else is streaming video then sure, be my guest. After hours they have been fine.

It's an open market. Service providers vie for market capital based on price, quality service, support, etc..

If things don't improve soon I'll be looking at alternative connectivity sources.

Afriman please help me to cancel my acc as-well please. I am on the phone the whole day for hours and nothing please assist....

I fully agree, but people are jumping ship before its been sorted out! I will at least wait until they say the problem has been solved before I consider moving!

They will sort it out coz LOTS of people are complaining and leaving! So its just a matter of time, how much? I dont know! Hope its soon!!

We have already started the billing run for October, but send me a PM and I'll see what I can do.

I will give it another month and see how it goes - if I move my line over you won't interfere and change my sync speed will you? (I have 10mb and don't want it to be changed). When should I do the upgrade for the best results price - wise.

I've been having problems since July 2012. I don't think I can wait longer.

The least they could do is offer a discount or free bandwidth as compensation. Worst of all I'm on a capped account as I want unshaped b/w all the time - a complete waste of money given the current latency.

At least Gian's email spam has stopped - guess he's taken a leaf out of the 'Lonmin Book of Customer Relations'.
