nope just fired up SANZB and I am getting 150KB/s on a 4mb uncapped.

Just to test, 3.75 mbps on a 10 mbps line with 20 threads. Throttled from almost full speed to 3.6 mbps in 5 seconds.

For me that means internally I have to throttle any downloads down to ~2 mbps to allow for other services to remain usable for the case that someone were to download.

The first month, i had amazing speeds was getting full line speeds, now im getting half the line speed (if im lucky). Ive been with afrihost since 2009, any assistance would be appreciate.

I had my Afrihost account for a month before I was actually able to use it due to Afrihost not being able to figure out how to get the ADSL line itself to work, which means that Afrihost had recorded a month of me downloading exactly 0 bytes, yet I have never, never, never, even my very first download, been able to get anything near my line speed.

I am currently getting between 10 and 20 kB/s on a download. That's at 19:45 currently. I know that when I go to bed, I might be lucky to get about 60kB/s while I'm sleeping. The highest speed I've ever seen is 80kB/s, and that was just a fluke basically. I have a 1Mbps uncapped account with Afrihost.

I upgraded today to the 4MB but there's still buffering on youtube(360p), I've only seen a 10kb improvement from my previous 384 line.
I'll wait a few days as I was instructed by telkom and try an mweb trial account meanwhile just to see if my problem is the same accross ISPs.

Other improvement is initial load of a web page, but that's it.

Well I'm getting 140KB/s on a 4Mbps line tonight! This slow Internet is really starting to piss me off!

Afriman are we only going to be charged for 2Mbps uncapped this month? This is really pathetic....

Seriously? WTF am I paying out my nose for????????? I could be on a 1MB uncapped line and be saving myself a bucket load of cash and still have the same connection.
