So you going to flood your network even thou your problems arent resolved. Awesome business plan right there.
Not all problems are exasperated by extra traffic. I'm inclined to give them the benefit of doubt. I'm sure AH has seen already how quickly customer sentiment can turn if things are not fixed in a reasonable amount of time, so I'm sure they'll fix whatever problems your experiencing.

4mb line, happy all day, all nyt...:D

Pietermaritzburg seems to be sorted - stream video without any pauses to buffer. Local gaming is good.

Speedtest.net also now shows that Jhb is 0.5km away and Durban 500km away from Pietermaritzburg. Not too fussed how the routing works as long as it works well.

Dota 2 pings are worst of them all tonight..

380ms.. never went below that.

No d3 problems tonight!!!! :-D

I had a few... Couple of spikes up to 1000ms, but playable for the most part. AfriMan himself logged in and confirmed irregular latencies, but yeah, at least it was playable.

Still, when the MWEB guys you're partied with are getting 210ms, and you're thankful for 300ms, you know there's still a problem.

@Afriman - The Windows 8 Upgrade assistant doesn't work for us - says that the upgrade is not available in our country. Works without any issue with Telkom.

I don't think the new address range has been fully propagated to all the geographical-type services yet. Would also explain why google doesn't go local.

Yep. I had to purchase the upgrade via Telkom and switch back to Afrihost for the download.

Ahh, is that why. FFS, stayed up till 1 last night just to be greeted by this message. I'm really starting to hate afrihost for this move to MTN. If the Cape Town IPC isn't sorted within next couple of weeks, I'm moving.

Read the thread. They expect a month minimum. So you better get moving...
