No, will not work

Your 3G provider should be able to provide you with an SMTP

Well I got a free gig from another ISP to try out for a month so now I can do proper performance tests. Ironic that I use to use my free Afrihost 1Gig account when Telkom would give me grief.

I understand that any company has a dip but I do feel that Afrihost should have done their homework with MTNNS - I could have told that when London goes down, MTNNS goes down.

Well, afrihost still meets one of my requirements - which is the uncapped nature of the connection. Most of my downloads are unattended, scheduled - it doesn't really matter how long they take. I managed to get my router to do bridged pppoe as well last night, so I can leave the media server sucking away at afrihost, while I connect my gaming PC to my free fnb connect account to play D3 without crippling lag when AH has a problem.

All seems to be going well today.
Torrents are currently flying at max on a 1MB line.
Also managed a 8MB PDF at lunch time no problem there!
