Afrihost uncapped prices?

Hi All/Afriguy,

Does anyone know when Afrihost is going to lower the pricing of their uncapped accounts? (not bundles)

The prices is ridiculous compared to other IPS's. :mad:

Want to upgrade to 4Mbps uncapped account but R397 is just too much compared to other companies.

Come on Afrihost!!!!
 
They are stringing us along. Stating in another thread that they waiting for the speed upgrades to complete. This is BS as they should know what the costs are. Does this mean we must be reemed til the end of Feb next year?

If that's the case I will pause my service with them until such time, this is crap, will probably just go the Telkom route.

@Afrihost - please stop playing around and give us better prices!!
 
they have to recover all the money they've spent on mobile somehow :whistle:
 
I emailed them to ask when prices are coming down, and I got a polite answer saying that the prices have just been reduced and that I will have to wait... :rolleyes:
 
I'm not waiting. Have already cancelled. Will be going to TI until AH comes to the party.
 
Know this has probably been asked a zillian times but

Not too familiar with uncapped as I always used capped to avoid shapping. On a 4mb line when can one expect to run into trouble if you primarily dl overnight.
 
Give Telkom a phone call rather. In essence the lady told me they running a special and 4mb uncapped internet from telkom with closer plan and including line rental for R579 on a 12 month contract

If you get Afrihost Business you will never get shaped. Day or Night.
