AfriHost Uncapped Shaping

Hi guys,

I'm currently on a 50GB Gold unshaped package with AfriHost and thinking of moving to uncapped next month. I stream a lot of video and play Xbox Live, so I'm worried about shaping.

Do AfriHost shape the living hell out of its uncapped accounts like most ISPs? What would be the best ISP to choose for a fast, uncapped package?

I'm not sure if you mean traffic prioritisation (shaping) or throttling (throughput limiting). We do both, but we prioritise according to traffic usage and your individual activities at the time. Throttle is based on bandwidth total over a rolling 30 day period.

For the lowest latency, I would always recommend capped accounts, which are completely unshaped.
