Is it a well seeded torrent?

Try change the port number.

A well-known problem with uTorrent. If you are using uTorrent then Google is you friend.

Something must be wrong on your end. Just tested a torrent and it's working fine. Speed is still climbing:

Try a different torrent software, it is not rare to find Bittorrent/utorrent to have issues like this where torrents don't start and just say "connecting to peers"

Most of the time that's due to schedulers, you just right-click and force start (utorrent).
I like utorrent but first get rid of the adds.

Agree, re force start. Most of the times if you have more than 5 torrents running, and you add more it wont connect. I normally just force start it.

No it looks like that now. When installing Torch, just untick/do not install Ask.com's stuff etc.

Same, on Afrihost and torrents are not working. Tried uTorrent, Deluge and Qbittorrent.
