Afrihost Uncapped VS Mweb Uncapped

For all of these companies. all of them don't include line-rental?

Like have to use Telkoms line?

Thanks im currently on Afrishost and over the weekend they were great but now im struggling to hit 20-30kb on my 4MB Line.

What Diff would it make if you on the seacom or the IS backbone? and if it does make a diff do i just give them a call and see if it makes a change to my speeds?

I remember i was with Axxess like 5 Months back and had there old Uncapped that was open FULL between 5PM and like 2AM weekdays and over the entire weekend (Open), are there any nice uncapped accounts like that now days?

Thanks.

Since Afirihost moved me onto the IS backbone for being a heavy user I’ve had no problem with the account. So I'm pretty happy with my 4meg uncapped at the moment. But I have to ad that I only use my account at night between 7pm and 6am during the week and on weekends, so I can't really comment on the performance of the account during working hours, which I assume will be slow.

Here are some daily usage stats for the month:

Afrihost [07/09/2010 --- 11/14/2010] - Usage : 164GB

Edit:
Regarding File hosting sites and Torrent downloads I get between 280kb's and 445kb's speeds and I can view HD/SD video's on Youtube without any slow buffering.

Well all I can say is that last month around the 7th I upgraded to the 4mb uncapped Mweb account and this is the usage I got for the month of October

DETAILED USAGE FOR: October 2010
TOTAL USED: 412,765.1MB
= 412 GB

...both MWEB & IS deliver poor service (Afrihost good service, however reliant on IS) and unstable connections (personal experience) and going by the amount of negative posts on MyBB - I would be rather reluctant to signup with either.

You might want to contact TRL Tech - telephone and ask for options that you require - https://www.trltech.co.za/whmcs/cart.php?gid=5 - personal service and stable connectivity.

Yes, TRL Tech is not one of the "big" guys, but have you ever had good service from these ISP's that have huge advertising budgets.

Request a small test account and see if it will suit your needs.

Regards

Mike
