Hi all,

Anyone having this issue as well?

It seems, every week now, my line just goes 'stale' (can't think of a better word)
It basically feels like I've run outta data on my line and you get "minimal" traffic so you can probably log onto your CP and update/add more data.
That's how my line reacts.
I restart it, nothing happens.
I either log a support ticket or use the SMS or Live Chat feature and they do 'something' their side, ask me to restart my line and after that, it works... for another week.

Only happening with Afrihost.

Thoughts? Comments?

Jip been experiencing this since about 4 days after they amounced the special

Everyday for a period usual 9 — 11

And then 2 - 5

I've been kicked from "The Division" now 4 times today, when I exit the game, try browse Google Chrome - nothing works.
Then it comes right.

That is what happens with us.

Connected but there's nothing it's like a empty Internet connection

Same here...Internet becomes extremely slow at times and not even a hard reboot of my adsl router works. Considering moving to a more reliable SP...Competition in this sector is growing fast so AfriHost needs to get their act together or people will simply move...

Morning!

The network seems to be running decently from what I can see.

What speed is your DSL line? Which DNS Servers are you using at the moment?

I'll need to check on your DSL account and the session history to see what is going on.

4MB ADSL
I don't have DNS set.
When I change my account to any other account - works, when I change back to Afrihost it doesn't work TILL one of your support guys do something.
And when THEY tell me the problem is MY SIDE - I get VERY BAPHUCK. Clearly it's not. I'm not a idiot... do not treat me like one.

What network is the test account that you used on, if you don't mind me asking?

I must be honest I have noticed this as well in the last week or so. The line just seems to "die" but it is still connected however a quick reset just seems to fix it. It has been really strange as the line slows to a crawl, gives up and rolls over :P

Old afrihost back at it. So I'm not even going to try and argue they are aware of it but are not allowed to talk or admit it this happened before.

I just use my WA line instead.

That shouldn't be happening... Are you seeing a drop in actual line sync? Or do you just see a drop in throughput?

I haven't noticed any issues with my connection. Gaming, streaming, web browsing etc. - maybe KZN is more fortunate?

Also, I'm using Google's DNS servers. I don't trust Afrihost's.
