Over the past few days I have seen my latency in WoW rising on my Afrihost connection, its getting to the point where I can't go on raids etc because my base latency is over 1000ms.

Just wanna know if anyone else that has Afrihost that plays WoW has the same issue.

Also if you could trace route to 80.239.181.76 I'd be most grateful.

Heres my trace route, totally unacceptable.

You've already got massive latency on the second hop, either something wrong with your line or Telkom exchange. Good luck in getting that fixed.

i still dont know why games are chapped after hours.
I mean the ISP keep telling us what we should and shouldn't do or use.
Games = BAD
Emails = GOOD

Sry rant over.

I played on US Stormrage over the weekend and I was getting a range of 390 to 550ms most of the time. Couple of spikes into 600+ and 2 bad ones into the 1000 and 10000+ (while tanking in ICC dungeons) but those were probably due to my housemate doing something dodgy online.

I'm quite happy with those speeds... I used to raid at 650+ ms back in the day (even with a VPN) so if I can get these sort of speeds consistently without the needs for a VPN, then I'm overjoyed!
