Afrihost - You Suck

Seriously I have tried to hold myself back from posting negative feedback again, yes again, but I just can't hold my rotten vegetables back.

Long story short, I changed packages from a 200 GB capped account - R400 to their home "uncapped" package - R400, I manged to hit 112 GBs and I was then throttled, so I sent a support mail. I was told sorry for the inconvenience, we have reset your port, here is a lollipop and off you go. Nope still Throttled. Send a support mail. Nothing. Send another support mail. Nothing.

Tonight my account ran fine.....for a bit and then BANG throttled.

Proper Useless service!

Please, Oh please can someone recommend an ISP that does not suck and does not add to my already ailing health issues.

You wont regret it, since joining on Thursday I have downloaded 400GB+ (all my steam and origin games) no degradation of my internet.

Its a guess on my part. This sort of information is a state secret. However I surmise I am quite accurate in my guess.

Sadly that's probably true, noticed this trend with some other founders of ISP's in SA. Once they've mostly milked the cash-cow, they're off.

Yup... standard practice for SA entrepreneurs. Which proves the whole "passion for what you do" statement to be utter BS. Its all about the money in the end... and how far the cow can be milked.
