Lets do Afrihost 101 course :

If you bought a 5 gig package on the 28th then you will billed prorata an amount of R18 for your first 660 meg's ; then if you topped up with another 5 gig's then you would have paid another R145 because you have used or have accessed 5.6 gig's so your total on your bank account billed by Afrihost should be R163

How do we get to 660 megs, 5 gigs = 5096 meg's divide by 31 days in the month times by 4 days remaining and like wise with the billing amount.
 
If you wish me to be precise the following amounts have been debited to my Credit Card since 28th December - R163.71 + R29 + R29 + R29 + R29 = 279.71 = R69.92 per gig. If any one would like to see the Invoices they are welcome.
 
Sounds like a mistake, give them a ring/pop them an email. They will fix it, they're very good.
 
I will make the call of course but I thought it may be helpful to bounce it here a little - I am quite new at these things. I can't say the experience has been a great one.

I always find it is best to test a forum out on the 31st December at 9pm! Even better when your initial post is rather vague. Improved even further when numerous calculations you post are incorrect!

You are welcome to raise them (besides they provided us with some entertainment) but just don't feel insulted when the responses you get at this hour, on this day, are a little more sarcastic than they may usually be! ;)

Actually, who am I fooling! This is indicative of the usual manner on this forum! And we love it! :D

yep- was going to add it to the collection, but i see my collection thread has been castrated so far out of proportion that it was removed ;)
