Afrihost

I'm sure it has, but has the process changed? i.e. Line with ISP x must first be cancelled, moved to Telkom, then once with Telkom ISP Y can now take the line over. In my case it ended in the ADSL portion being cancelled and having to then go through the admin of getting it back up again.

Point is it involves 3 parties all having their stuff in order vs just leaving it with Telkom and thus only messing with ADSL modem credentials.

I'm moving to you guys at the end of the month to try out the new capped 100GB product, didn't like the IS backend before and really don't trust anything that is linked to MTN, so now that you are not using them anymore I am going to give it a go again.

I'm afraid not, I don't see Telkom changing their process any time soon I'm afraid :(
It shouldn't be too bad though, OpenServe have cleared up a few policies for ISPs and hooked in some automation too, so it should look like this:

Request losing ISP to migrate line back to Telkom
Telkom confirm line migration from losing ISP
Winning ISP migrates line in

We use Afrihost capped package on a 10MB line. I use Unotelly and stream Netflix and Hulu and we rarely have issue. There was more issues to begin with but since they switched over to their new system its been great.

Great to hear you're having an awesome experience on our network :)
