Is there a predictive text app for Afrikaans that can be installed on a Android phone (Google Nexus 4)?

Try SwiftKey keyboard, it can predict three languages simultaneously, including Afrikaans. ;)

Swiftkizzle fo shizzle.

Also the defaut Android keyboard has had it for ages.

problem with swiftkey is when typing url's / ip numbers, it adds spaces or periods(even if you disable this option in settings), swype doesnt

SwiftKey can also do Swype... It's actually flippin fantastic. ;)

I've owned both keyboards since they launched and I'm currently using Swype. Both have had their ups and downs, but imo Swype is currently the superior option.

Can Swype also predict three languages simultaneously, like SwiftKey Flow?

When it failed to suggest apostrophes ex: cant wont, I uninstalled. Predictions are far inferior even with about 8 to 10 suggestions vs 3 for SwiftKey. Some smses I only have to type a word here and there, the rest is suggested. Works well for business use when things are somewhat repetitive.
