It's for anyone wanting sign-up a new uncapped product. Won't work for upgrades though.

What exactly does this mean?

I'm on a capped product. Would moving to uncapped be considered an upgrade? My current cap is 60GB and sometimes I top up with as much as 20GB; at these rates, I might as well go on uncapped.

An uncapped account would count as a new account added to your existing afrihost profile. It'll get the 80% discount. What you choose to do with your existing 60gig cap account is entirely up to you, but remember it wont get a discount of any kind.

If you sign up mid-August, you'll get 80% of the pro-rata for August, and then 80% off September's bill.

You would need to sign up a new account (it can still be on your existing ClientZone profile). You could then cancel your 60GB capped account. Your ADSL username would change though.

Maybe I misunderstood you. You get one pro-rata month and one full month. So it's up to you if you want to do July/August or August/September - that type of thing.

Yeah, just pointing out i was half way through the signup page and would have wasted september to get the rest of this month. Close call, i'm glad i read this thread.
