Have a Lexus IS250 2012

My motorplan ran out and I want to get an aftermarket maint. or warranty plan.

Any advice and costs?

I would get warranty plan from motorhappy.co.za and just pay for the services out of your pocket.

Its just a fancy toyota should not be too expensive at a private shop.

Depends on KM and age of the car.

Check if they have the same as Toyota - you can extend your warranty till 2020 for a 2012 at a minimal cost vs benefits compared to the "aftermarket" products.

I am Hollard Xtender and happy with them. Most claims is generally processed quickly (2-4 days). On occasion I had to wait a week or so.

Try and see audi what plans they have for sale, they might give you a plan that covers decent amount so long as you still under motorplan. BMW sells aftermarket warranty for 14k for unlimited km 2 years that covers all major components for unlimited amount.

Audi wants a crazy R38000 for 20000km and one year. It's really not worth that money.
The car was mine from brand new and never troubled. It actually gives a beautiful drive.
