Age Difference

Was going to start a similar thread, but since this one exists already and I'm sure a lot has changed since 2009 here goes.

What is is the current age difference between yourself and your "significant other"?
Nope, it's still the same as it was in 2009.

Basically how it works is that women don't know what they want through out their entire life. This is made even more complex by the fact that during their monthly cycles, they want different men at different times too (Camel man, stubble, soft, gentle) - it simply rotates within the month :/

They get an *idea* of what they want at about 25 - but prior to that, have no clue. They have no 'set' type of guy they go for and simply jump around from guy to guy.

So by the time she's settled down and realised what she wants (the nice guy), she's had everything (and everyone) out there - and the good guy - being the last link in the chain - get's her after everyone has had there way with her for the last few years.

Depressing - isn't it? ;)

I've often thought about going into relationship councilling ...
This is basically the red pill advice that is currently trending, you were ahead of the times.

Currently 12 years older than my girlfriend. About 10 years ago I dated the CEO's PA, she was 18 years older than me. Those are the two extremes of the spectrum.

This sounds like a maths problem. I’ll go for the easy answer and say 20/40.
Funny how that sounds better than 25/50. Not that I care either way. How long you been together @Norrad?

I read somewhere the acceptable gap is half your age + 7, with around 18 the lower bound.

I've always maintained its a personal thing, ignore others do whateverthe**** works for you.

Why is a grown ass working man hanging around high school kids.
I wasn't hanging around anywhere. I'm not sure any parent would allow their kids at that age to hang around a working man.

I was involved with her (older) friend who lost her phone. So she gave me my now wife's number to contact her on. My ex and I broke up and my wife kept in contact. We only met in person a few years later and by that time we knew each other so well, we basically became a couple that day.
