Age Difference

guys, there has been a scientific study done on this and the official rule is "a half plus 7 rounded down" take your age divide it by 2 and add 7, so for a 20yr old it would be 17, 25yr would be 19, and 40 would be 27, it works pretty well :D

Well the rule if I remember correctly is:

lower limit - divide by 2 plus 7

Top limit - minus 7 multiplied by 2

Only valid from 14 onwards...

Yep, that's the rule.

If he/she's younger: Min Age = (Your Age / 2) + 7

If he/she's older: Max Age = (Your Age -7 ) x 2

If he/she's younger: Min Age = (Your Age / 2) + 7

21.5 years ...

I like the rule

I'd like to disagree re: the 21 and up knowing what they want. No woman knows what they want. I guarantee it.

I agree, but men the same.

If i think what i wanted when i was 21..... ai i'm happy i did not get it:D

true BUT, men are willing to admit they don't know what they want and just go with the flow, and make the best with what life gives them :p

That's exactly my point. Women *think* they know what they want and when they get it it wasn't what they wanted. I watch Shaytard on YouTube and the other day he posted a video of his wife complaining that the chocolate Ice Cream he got her (which she wanted) was too chocolatey. TOO Chocolatey?? Anyway...

And these "men" you refer to are those without ... how can I put this nicely... the balls to figure that out and then go after it.

Basically how it works is that women don't know what they want through out their entire life. This is made even more complex by the fact that during their monthly cycles, they want different men at different times too (Camel man, stubble, soft, gentle) - it simply rotates within the month :/

They get an *idea* of what they want at about 25 - but prior to that, have no clue. They have no 'set' type of guy they go for and simply jump around from guy to guy.

So by the time she's settled down and realised what she wants (the nice guy), she's had everything (and everyone) out there - and the good guy - being the last link in the chain - get's her after everyone has had there way with her for the last few years.

Depressing - isn't it? ;)

I've often thought about going into relationship councilling ...

Girls generally are more mature than guys of the same age. That's why we generally go for girls younger than us.

Exactly. The nice guys have to wait around patiently until the girls are done whoring around.

I'm telling you okes ... chicks are car guards.

I think it is true what some of the others have said: the older you get, the less the age gap matters. Hubby is 7 years old than me.

and his sis has married a guy as old as her father. And they are still happily married

Very true but then again my gf's parents are 10 years apart so maybe thats where it comes from know allot of ppl who are against it

10 years at parent level doesn't make a huge difference at all :/

I do not now and have never whored around!:mad:

Ok. But have you ever dumped a guy because you stopped "loving" him while another guy peaked your interest?

It's not necessarily that you cheated on one or felt you need to hop around many guys in your life. The term was used loosely to describe the mental state of women.

Fact: Any woman slightly unhappy within their relationship can be swayed to fall in love with another guy if done right. If not love, at least lust.

I've done that at least 4 times just to prove my point. But we're drifting off topic.

a friend of mine's mom and dad has a 12 year age difference. Scary to think because when he graduated matric she basically just started school. lol
