Ahmed Mahomed is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of JSE-listed, black empowered ICT (information and communication technology) company, Datacentrix.
Mahomed has held various senior management positions for 26 years and has been operating at board level for 14 years. Having operated within the IT industry for the past 14 years, Mahomed joined Datacentrix in 2002 to head up the company’s Infrastructure division and was appointed to the board in 2003. Having successfully managed the Infrastructure division for five years, Mahomed was named as Chief Operating Officer (COO) in 2007 and became CEO later that year.
Prior to joining Datacentrix, he held the title of managing director at Pinnacle Micro and was also operations manager for hardware and construction giant, Cashbuild.
