AI Development general thread.

yeah, I mean a couple of times I caught mine going into az cli, which is alright as long as it asks permission and at least I KNOW what its trying to do but quite a few folks have it on full approval and trust the modesl to do the right thing.

"Oh you absolutely right, I shouldn't have done that!"

Yeah, that is one of my things, not a fsck does it go onto full approval if its in the context of anything other than read-only on systems.

And then most of the time, if there is an element of more than read-only then all actions are approved/denied by me. If I'm going to be held accountable for what an AI does, then I must at least have had some say in what it actually did.

There is a model previously called catJAM but now called Beam Free. For those that want to try it out it's free on on https://opencode.ai/ with some random rate limits but pretty generous.

I find it to be pretty good for free. It's no premium model but it's very decent. I made 2 android tv apps and 2 windows apps so far with it for free.

Anyone used AI to review and understand legal contracts ? Not setting up just need to review and understand maybe maybe a few suggestions ? I assume chat gpt, google and openai are all much or a much ?

I use "fastbots ai" to which I upload documents for review on occasion.
In terms of other subscription based items, Claude can do wonders if you set up a workspace with your legal frameworks and constraints in place

**edit** even their free options have some kickass functions:
