AI Generated / Assisted Music

Yeah the one reason I haven't pulled the trigger on publishing anything, I respect artist doing it for a living, which is why I have tried getting a youtube profile up and running, which is insanely hard to say the least, but it is starting to pick up somewhat now that I have focused on african music, getting surprisingly much better views on long form videos than I did with normal music.

But honestly I should put more focus on creating custom video art and media. It is a sticky subject and really hesitant on that, I think I might eventually pull the trigger once the hype dies down and public opinion is better, it might never come, who knows.

Also I am not hiding the fact it is AI music either.

So going forward I am going to push african music and spend sometime getting more tracks listed, rebrand the channel once there is enough tracks start delisting all the old tracks, and solely focus on one type of music and use a new channel for everything else I learned a lot about listing music and what people like.

Already have a channel I really don't want to start out fresh again, and establish listener base all over again, the second channel would be just for me.
As long as you get fulfilment out of it, that's all that matters. If it so happens that you find success, fame, fortune and glory and whatever else - then that's cool too. I know it's hard work to keep a Youtube channel going, but if you enjoy what you do then it's not really work. If there are people who connect with it and enjoy it, then that's even better. It can be a bit discouraging if you pour a lot of time and effort into something and people just turn their noses up at it just because it's AI, but I don't let it bug me too much.

Such a good take on all of this. Have fun and do what makes you happy. AI or not, at this stage I don't care that much anymore. I used to sit in front of a Windows 98 PC back in the day trying to record some cool stuff for my (now wife) girlfriend with a guitar and keyboard. Just keep rocking 🤘

Normally don’t cover/remix other peoples stuff, but the abrupt ending was getting on my nerves, and it’s such a quaint interpretation of Rebroff.

I think I had way too much fun than I should have.. and prob took it way further than I should have. Highly experimental, more a test than anything else. Not taking anything too seriously.. but the AI age is going to be wild.

Apple Music actually landed, Spotify not yet.

Might take it down in a few weeks or experiment further with an actual custom voice. Not sure.

So went ahead with the channel rebrand unlisted all the other videos only south african music to feature on it now

Also going to start with the custom videos, for now just still background images. Lets see what happens. :)

looks great! Schweet logo, color scheme. ( just from aesthetic viewpoint, not gonna test functionality , my web days are over )

Looks like you're all in. Well done, site looks good. :)

I'm still a bit unsure about this custom voice model story.. is this the first step in setting one up? How did you go about creating one? So do you upload recording of random or similar voice recordings?

That's not the voice model, that's where you create style models.
You have two ways of creating voice models - one is creating one from a song you've already generated - which allows you to have a consistent "Suno Singer" in all the tracks where you use it. To create a "Suno voice" just go to a song you've already created, click the ellipses to the right of your "Remix" button, select remix and choose "voice" at the bottom of the popup.
The other is a way to let Suno clone your voice, by recording your vocals - or you uploading a vocal recording - followed by a step where you need to read out a couple of lines over your mic so it can match your voice sample and ensure it's you. To get to that section, click on the + voice above your lyrics box and select +create voice, read the T&Cs, record or upload your sample, do the verification, etc. and you done.

You’re basically creating training data for your creations, so use them all. If you can upload a 100 , do it.
