I like this one (style ) much more !
yeah the mix of grunge and rap works well, don't want to be overly focused on that even thought that it gets clicks, a few songs is okay but not for every song.

There should be balance, with a mixture of songs. Keeps it fresh and whoever listens never gets the same song. If placed in a decent order.

Personally I don't like doing this is cliche grunge or subject. It is a touchy subject, I thought perhaps I could re-frame it and hide it's teeth with the instruments and style, and did the exact opposite, lol. I still went whoa this is super dark. Just thought let me try something, it isn't the best song, but it is potent and unnerving, you don't necessarily pick up on lyrics right away. Did that intentionally ......lol I scare my self sometimes, with out-there ideas.

I decided to start investing more time into what Suno Studio has to offer. Even subtle changes in EQ for various stems can make quite a difference, one might only really notice if you compare the original track from "base" Suno to the Suno Studio tweaked version, but this one turned out pretty well. There's a bit more definition in the guitar and bass. I also played with the backing vocal arrangement a bit.

I'm really happy with this one overall as well - sounds really good with decent earphones. Once again spent some time on EQ and subtle tweaks in Studio and it is quite different (better) than the original version.

Here's something I didn't know until today... you can actually upload your Suno (or other music) tracks to ChatGPT or Gemini to analyse and critique. A while back, that wasn't possible, but today I get feedback like this, which while mostly positive doesn't seem overly sycophantic since it does touch on some technical issues at the end of the song (which I have already been improving anyway) :

The track captures that specific mid-90s to early 2000s industrial-rock energy perfectly.

Here is a technical and creative critique of "Night of The Undead High School Cheerleaders":

The Vocal Performance

The vocal "clone" is impressive, specifically in how it handles the rhythmic delivery.

  • The Persona: You’ve successfully captured that Rob Zombie signature—the "spoken-sung" rasp that sits right on the beat. The gritty texture doesn't feel thin; it has enough low-mid weight to feel authoritative against the heavy instrumentation.
  • The Hook: The "Go! Fight! Die! Repeat!" chant is a standout. It utilizes the "cheerleader" motif but flips it into a dark, percussive element that drives the chorus.
  • Critique: While the grit is consistent, adding a few more "verbiage" flairs—like the stereotypical Zombie "Yeah!" or "Burn!" with a bit more slap-back delay—would push the authenticity even further.

Instrumentation & Arrangement

The "groove metal" tag is accurate here. The track relies on a driving, "four-on-the-floor" stomp that is essential for this genre.

  • The Riffs: The main guitar riff is chunky and repetitive in the best way possible. It provides a solid foundation for the synths to sit on top of.
  • Atmospherics: The use of cinematic "screams" and school-bell sound effects in the intro and transitions creates an immediate sense of place. It’s high-concept without being cheesy.
  • The Bridge: The transition into the "No graduation, no escape" section provides a necessary dynamic shift, allowing the track to breathe before the final crescendo.

Production & Mix

  • Clarity: For an AI-generated track, the separation between the distorted bass and the kick drum is surprisingly clean. The low end feels tight, which is vital for groove metal.
  • Dynamics: The "cheer" sections (the "Hey! Hey! Hey!") provide excellent mid-range frequency contrast to your deeper, raspy vocals.
  • Critique: In the final 30 seconds, the mix gets a bit "crowded." The overlapping vocal layers and the high-gain guitars compete for the same frequency space. A slight dip in the guitar's 3kHz range during those dense vocal sections might help the lyrics cut through even more.

Narrative & Aesthetic

You’ve leaned into the "cynical horror" vibe that suits your preference for dark humor.

  • Imagery: Lines like "lipstick cracked like a razor curl" and "spirit squad from the underworld" are great examples of "Technicolor Horror" writing.
  • Consistency: The project fits perfectly within your "Ctrl Alt Dominate" universe—it feels like a high-energy "boss track" for a narrative project.
Final Verdict: This is a highly successful experiment in voice cloning. It doesn't just sound like a "generic metal song"; it sounds like a specific style executed with intent.

Tried something a bit different with this one. It’s a humorous alt-rock track built entirely around double, triple, and even quadruple negatives, basically saying very simple things in the most unnecessarily complicated way possible.

Underneath all the nonsense, it’s about wanting to stay in bed all day, not enjoying the real world, dreaming of winning the lotto and quitting work, and… not exactly loving your boss.

It somehow makes sense while also not making sense at all 😄

I did a mash-up of two tracks and then remixed it into a more club-like, faster tempo dance track. What's really nice is that it preserved both voices and the core style, melodies and rhythms from both tracks plus new stuff. There's even a nice back and forth, alternating lyrics between the two singers in the bridge section.

For this, I used a loop I made in 2012 (in Garageband on an iPad), which I stumbled upon in my cloud folders recently. I did several passes in Suno to apply different genres - with the final version gone through Suno studio and added a few small elements and some subtle EQ as well. The end result is a song which has a blend of three or so different genres in one cohesive sound.

Really happy with what I got out of this slow, heavy grunge style on this track. My voice model shines and the instruments are spot on for what I wanted - particularly the bass guitar. Also, I couldn't get a good music visualiser that met my requirements, so I made my own :)

Visuals superb!!!

Very cool and dynamic. Suno often likes to loop the same section over and over, but that didn't happen here.

Took way longer than expected lol, Im out of practice hehe.

Wondering if in the future, we’ll get real time live jamming with AI. Would be Schweet

I don't think it's far off, certainly not impossible if you look at how fast Suno can cover tracks into vastly different styles. In theory it would just mean setting the prompt for the type of music you want, setting how similar or different your input should be from the output, setting your input instrument and off you go.

I like how they focus each version on some aspect this version is voices, and such, would be cool if the next version focuses on instrumentation and melody construction and a bit more on the technical aspects.

With current models needs to be structured and the melody needs to resolve, it is very hard to mix two tempo's, variable tempo is another thing that it struggles with. Setting timing when an instrument needs to kick in how long a specific intro, break needs to be. It also really struggles with ambient tracks with spoken words it always want a melody or instrumentation, has a hard time with spoken words.

Still lots of aspects where it still falls short.

What I do like is mashing different styles together, it actually does it very well, a small problem I found is if you mix style sometimes have a hard time sometimes keeping the dominant style front and center, Like jazz grunge it would sometimes lean to heavy into the jazz and it sort of loses focus.

Agree. Was a bit easier last year imo , so in that regard it's regressed slightly, but that happens when you have new technology.
The best suno whacking experiment I ever did, (actually would be something I would love to play live. Like the perfect jazz fusion of sorts that caters to all my musical whims and fancies hehe ) .

Nice definitely want to try a jazz industrial or jazz grunge style. Of course there is rock and alternative and all the sub styles. Personally I stuck with grunge, it is generally the best style that is pliable and provides decent contrast with other styles and matches well with contrasting instrumentation.

If you match it with the right voice you can generally do something epic, the only thing I am having a bit of second thoughts on is style coherence when building a persona, breakbeat in grunge is rarely used, but it works so well with grunge I can't help my self and done a few of those and they are epic, but then you need to make use of speed and tempo to match the energy of other songs or else you get a miss match.

For example this only uses 808 drums, keeping it grounded in grunge is pretty hard
