AI Generated / Assisted Music

More metal is never a bad thing :)🤘
spaghetti western track is awesomeness ))
all you need is some haunting bg female vocals / theremin sections and it's probably one of the best I've heard in a long time that's not Morricone.

not strictly spaghetti western but I adore the palette / instrumentation

( reminds me a bit of early Tarantino )

Check out Kelly Boesch AI generated Visual Art and Music on Youtube...

Yeah, our paths crossed a few times when the AI art / music thing first took off. She seems to have done well for herself... :)

Thanks - really happy to have that Spanish flair with the nylon guitars in this one, really seems that it blends into that Zorro - Swashbuckling - Western cinematic feel.

I recently came across a modding tool for Pistol Whip (VR), which is basically a first-person rhythm shooter where you fight through stylised action scenes in sync with the beat. Naturally, I ended up making a couple of custom tracks for some levels, still a work in progress. The idea is that Suno-generated music actually fits surprisingly well with the concept, especially for high-energy, dance-driven levels. I also went for a bit of a Mortal Kombat-style commentator vibe in the vocals, something that hypes you up while you’re playing and leans into that over-the-top, slightly taunting energy.

so ... what are the tools of choice here? everyone on Suno?
gotta say I'm generally not a fan of AI generated remixes, but there's some potential out there, this thing keeps coming back in my Youtube feed, the algorithm sure thinks I like it

I primarily use Suno. Do some experimentation on my local PC with ACE step 1.5, it's ok, but nowhere near Suno quality or capability. I also tried Udio a year or two ago and while its sound quality was better compared to Suno at the time, I didn't like its style or workflow.

A different kind of metal now... 🤘

I tried suno with this task:

Convert Nozart nachtmusik into argent metal. None of the results was actually Mozart nachtmusik as argent metal but still cool nonetheless.

I guess suno does compositions not conversations, adaptions or mutations?

Yeah, so Suno is not an LLM... and it won't typically do anything with copyrighted music, but if you were to record yourself or someone else playing a cover of Eine Kleine Nachtmuzik (or get a non copyrighted / protected version of it), then work out how to describe the correct style in Suno, then you would get a metal cover of it.
