ChatGPT just another tool and won't replace traditional learning

Artificial intelligence (AI) language models like OpenAI's ChatGPT are just another phase in the evolution of computing and won't replace traditional learning.

This is according to co-founder of the Discovery Institute and author of Life After Television, George Gilder, who spoke during a panel discussion at Huawei's Seeds for the Future event at Mobile World Congress.

What they actually meant is:

"Traditional learning methodology is so stuck in the 1800s that it is unable to benefit from the unlimited learning and collaboration resources the internet has brought. It has no clue what to do with AI learning tools."

“It will not destroy jobs. It will enrich jobs and make people more productive and thus more employable,” he added
I agree in aggregate it will not destroy the number of jobs. But like all technology it will destroy specific jobs and people that don't adjust will be left in the dust.

We don't have typing pools, or human calculators or a bunch of other jobs due to technology. Yes we have more jobs in total but technology does destroy specific jobs.
