Airfryers that aren't a Philips

I got the Vortex Clear Cook with the OdourErase for myself and my mother. Order the Clear Cook for my gran and will be giving it to her this coming week when I am back in SA.
Just because the airfryer tells you to turn the food (thus exposing the other side of the food to the direct heat source and thus allowing you to grill both sides, you don't actually have to turn the food.
I generally don't turn my food. I only turn things like pork chops because I like the rind to be pretty much crackling.

The instant air fryers are great for normal size chickens but I don't think a farm chicken is going to fit under the grill.

Like I said - small batch cooking. Largest thing you're likely to cook in an air fryer is a chicken and fortunately SA chickens are pathetically small.

Yeah, the air fryer is ideal if you are cooking for one or two people. My Mother loves hers because she cooks for just my step-father and herself.

Refilled 2x 19kg cylinders (gas geysers) @ R698 each and 1 x 48kg cylinder (stove) @ R1764 last week for a total of R3160. Admittedly they last long but if I can cook for free on an Airfryer, and it's practical, why not.
 
Why would wanna buy a kitchen appliance like an air fryer as Christmas present....that is so unromantic. Get the wife some expensive perfume or jewellery but not an air fryer please.

Why not? Something you’ll use every day is much better than junk you’ll have to donate to goodwill to get rid of. The Philips shaver I got for my birthday I used for close to 10 years.

My wife is a keeper. She is the most unmaterialistic person I know. Hates going shopping. Besides, I bought her romantic stuff for her birthday in November, so my marble is polished. :)
