Airport Express connectivity

Can one connect an airport express by means of a USB modem? If so, then one would lose the printing facility. Those in the know, please provide some advise.

Found this answer - "there is no adapter that will allow you to use your current USB interface DSL modem with the Airport Express".

Therefor it seems that I can just as well buy a standard usb enabled and wifi router.
