Algeria vs Slovenia

Slovenia took out Russia in the play-offs in order to make it to the finals...
 
I never thought much of Russia, and last night John Barnes say the Algerians have a few quick and tricky players and the have the potential to beat USA with their pace
 
The Slovenians have the power of the "ic" (ietsch); most surnames end with it!! :twisted: :)

Seriously, though, I think the Slovenians will flood the midfield and snuff out any attempts by the Algerians to play "fancy" football.

Btw, german vs aussia game needs to end 4-4 or the goal scoring record in this WC is gunna be shocking :eek:
 
Slovenia will either win by a single goal or draw. Don't give algeria much hope of finishing higher than 4th :D.
 
Just checked out the 23 man squad, never heard of any of them. Goal scoring looks bad aswell, probably gunna hope for the single goal on the break to win it.


The match commentator is going to have a fun day today :p
 
Don't really care about Group C.. So I just hope to see a whole lot of goals and and interesting game :D
 
The first game of the tournament where interest will be very low. It should actually be a good game, both teams were big surprises in making it. It will be the first time I have watched Slovenia since we beat the in the 2002 world cup.
 
Drone of plastic POS's is irritating. Poor coach cannot get a message to his players!!
