All the HD channels on DStv

DStv currently offers 67 high definition (HD) channels in South Africa, with content ranging from general entertainment and sport, to documentaries and news.

This extends back to when MultiChoice launched M-Net HD in 2008, using the Beijing Olympics to showcase the technology.

So is this a brag or admission of mediocrity as they don't have 100% HD coverage and zilch 4K content?

Love how come Christmas time they put an HD logo on an SD channel. Takes up half the screen before disappearing and then coming back a day later. Happens every year and still they don't learn.

Unlikely given the constraints of satellite transmission. HD will hopefully be available when DStv finally launches a proper streaming service.

That will never happen. The standard for HD broadcasts are 720p or 1080i.
