Oh wait. I completely misunderstood your picture. North is 0 and then clockwise from there (some websites have South as 0).That's the part I'm not getting, what is it based on? If I overlay a 360 compass - it looks like they're pointing 295 degrees - or 65 degrees in the opposite direction.

They came and left without fixing it or having a plan to fix it?Anyone ever got an F21 Error on their Sunsynk?
I have a newly installed 12kW system (2 weeks) and it has been working 100%, but yesterday, the inverter cut out, and gave an error F21 - something to do with Ac current overload. The AC breaker inside the inverter tripped. The installers came out and did several restarts of the inverter and batteries with no luck. Now the log has moved on, so doesn't show the old error details.
It will bypass AC grid, but won't run off the battery (i.e. the inverter part isn't working). The "normal" LED never goes on. The battery SOC shows up fine (70%) on the inverter and the battery indicator LEDs (AM-5) show 3/4 LEDs ON. So the batteries are fine, and seems like the BMS comms is fine.

No reason why you can't, but be aware that your inverter's output when on battery will be limited to the C rating of the battery. So for a 1C 5kWh (best case) battery your 8kW inverter would only be able to provide 5kW of power.Anyone know whether it's possible to use an 8kW inverter with only a single battery?
My logic is, I don't have the cash at the moment for a second battery, but I'd like to give myself an avenue to upgrade later. I don't need 10 kW though, so a second 5kW inverter would be a waste.

Well, I posted this in the Sunsynk/Deye thread (my installer has quoted on a Deye)...If it's a proper hybrid inverter (not cheap), and you have enough solar panels, you should be able to generate 8kW peak power (with or without a battery), for daytime domestic loads, or even grid feed as well:

I'm unlikely to be able to fit 8 kWp on my roof. My house is unfortunately quite small. I estimate that I'd probably max out at 3 or 3.5 kWp.
But I'd imagine that if the sun is shining, and the battery is full, 3+5 would give me 8kW. The inverter can combine the panels and the battery, right?
