should be a switch on the side of inverter as well as a change over switch on the DB so you don't lose power to the house

Bad battery, inaccurate reporting... fuse popped on one battery line - how is your battery connected to your Sunsynk inverter? What battery model is it?

My wife just reminded me of what I did last night...

My prepaid meter wouldn't connect so I flipped the manual change over switch to recharge and then flipped it back. I did this while the inverter was on, not sure if I damaged something in the process.

I Don't know why so many installers don't insist on putting a dedicated plug for prepaid CIU

It's a three position switch, right? Down is one direction, middle is off, top is the other direction? That shouldn't affect anything.

The batteries are in series with a Riken fuse holder which I'm not sure how to open.

Also, if it's in series shouldn't it pick up both batteries or none?

I'll monitor it once both batteries are fully charged and see if both are draining.

Doubt it's in series... that would make your system 96v

Yes your installer can request admin access to the site for you. The default is usually view only… though my experience is primarily related to the solarman dongle.

For Sunsynk I had issues with updating the refresh time from 5 minutes to 60 seconds.

You have to request a user level elevation to Advanced User and then you should be able to drop it down to 60 seconds (down from the default of 300 seconds). I didn't have to contact my installer for this. You have to scroll about 3/4 of the way down to the request form:

Looks like I was mistaken, actually. It's a Solis.

Is anybody familiar with that? And been able to integrate with Home Assistant?

I see the Solarman inergration has a Solis template already in HASS.

SOC went to 0%, then 100% and didn't charge until a load kicked in and then started reporting the SOC normally again?

I'm in CT and with the weak winter sun I've set mine to 40% just in case something goes wrong (LS or random power outage).

I only have 10KWh storage + 6.7KWp and the batteries only got full 9 times in the last 30 days. Basically just topping them up to cover the base load at night and using grid + solar to cover the load during the day

40%, In CT winter production is so low with high demand from all the AC and heating panels working. 13kWh storage capacity battery.

I haven't changed mine in a while. I still wanted to make it dynamic but that was too much effort
