All things Sunsynk (Deye, Inge, etc...)

Have the updates always been 10 mins apart or were they shorter intervals at one time?
5 minutes in 2023 and later down to 1 minute.

On a Sunsynk inverter, with Sunsynk dongle, on the Sunsynk platform/app?

I used to be on 60 seconds (still says that in the app when checking gateway settings), but on 10 minutes refresh intervals since Dec/Jan.

Yes sir. haven't bothered to check up after yesterday's outage. I'm also on the tipping point of buying the software and dust off a Pi.

If you have a Deye inverter, you can email the manufacturer to lower the update time to 2 mins
 
Home Assistant with Solarman is the bare minimum I would recommend for people with these inverters.

Solar Assistant is a boon if you have a recent-ish Pi and some spare cash for the licence.
 
Has anyone seen something like this before? Production was climbing as it is a sunny day here with no haze, but production seems to have hit a ceiling at ~1800w. This is with 4.6kWp. Both strings are reporting around ~900w. Almost as if there is clipping happening. Deye 8kW Hybrid inverter, 1x 5.12kWh battery. It's not even close to the max charging amps of 50A that I have it set to so it's not like it's limited by the battery charge rate.

Are you certain that there's not any shade landing on your panels? During the winter, my chimney throws shade on my one string. What was your SOC % at when it limited to 1800W?

We have shading in the mid afternoon from around 15:30 onwards, nothing during the day.

SOC was around 35%.

It hasn't happened again, and the PV charts have returned to normal

There are 2 screens where battery current is restricted and the current you are setting is battery voltage not grid voltage. So 50ax48v=2400W as example.

Nothing has changed in my settings, all my charging currents are set to 50A (grid, solar and generator).
It eventually went up to the usual amount but that period where it just idled there was weird. Here is the whole day's production:

Same here, but I do have for the 13th. They did say that it will take 30 days to restore all historic data though.

I have quite a few days missing probably 60% of the last week. I don't bother reading their messages anymore so didn't see the 30 day one the data seems to be there for some charts but not others though.
 
I think I must be very lucky. All my historical data going back 4 years is available after the upgrade
 
My intervals are set to 2 minutes. At least that's better than 10 minutes.
