I havent done it in 2 years so not sure if things have changed.
But I needed elevated permissions from the installer.
I was the non-approved installer so I had to fill out a form on sunsynks website and just ask them to give me those permissions.
https://www.sunsynk.org/remote-monitoring -> Towards the bottom is a form you fill out. Just say you are end user and you want installer permissions (Not approved installer)

Once you have the permission, the settings can only be changed via the website and not the app.
Click Equipment -> Gateway -> Next to your wifi gateway click the 3 dots and select settings.

Thanks for the reply. I somme asked my installer if he will have a look for me and change it, as it is set to 300s now, and I don't have access to those settings like you mentioned.

Alright,

The installer set the interval to 60 seconds. Am I supposed to see the intervals on the main graph on the Sunsynk app or how, cause it is still 5 min intervals.

I have a 8kw inverter and 2 5.32kwh batteries. A few weeks ago Eskom was doing maintenance and we had no electricity.

The inverter tripped as we exceeded the 8kw threshold with the error F55 DC_VoltHigh_Fault.

My question is, if there was Eskom power and we go above the 8kw limit, would the inverter trip?

sort of there is a pass-through limit that's over 8Kw so when grid it active you can go over 8Kw without issue (up to a point can't recall off hand what it is ), so as long as you do not exceed that it won't trip but when grid is off you not making use of the pass through and exceeding the direct limit it will trip.

Reason I ask is because on the day of installation with everything switched on we went over 9400kw and no trip.
 
Pulled the trigger this week, going off grid.
Ordered and paid.

Total system will be,
3 x Deye 5Kw paralleled.
7 x Pylontech UP5000
22 x 550w panels.

Would like more panels but those will fill up the roof and will obviously have to use the generator to supplement.
Nervously excited, just waiting for the stuff to come in.

I assume you're creating a 3 phase output with the inverters?

No single phase, we have a bit of a unique situation/setup so it's going to power two houses basically.

We are adding to existing so it's not a total but the way prices have dropped means that I get more for less.

The budget was for R200k for the additions and I've pretty much used all of it and still need to buy some small things to finish the install.
I'm also doing some roof work out of that too.
Trouble is that there are so many options and configuration arrangements so my plans keep on changing, along with the cost. :sneaky:
 
So my one Greenrich battery started acting up and eventually went into fault mode after about 3 years.

I bought it from The power Forum Store but thought I would take a chance and drop it off myself at their warehouse on monday morning as I drive in that direction.

They took my details and the battery, on Wednesday I got a whatsapp message that it has been tested and has one bad cell and I can come collect a new battery.

Pitched up on Wednesday afternoon on my way back and they loaded the new battery and off I went.

Was a great experience compared to what some other companies in SA get up to. Its really nice to see this level of service still exists.

Was that with power-forum or greenrich warehouse?
 
Everyone else had their refresh go back to every 5 or 6 minutes since last week's morning outage?
